This one-piece solid wood mallet, designed for use with most wood carving tools ,is ideal for light to medium wood carving.

The innovative use of rope wrapped around the head reduces the noise associated with hitting your wood carving tool as well as the percussive strain on hands, wrists and elbows.

The rope is replaceable allowing for an extended life of the mallet.
