Utrecht Artists’ Oil Colors are handmade with the finest pigments and pure drying oils. Produced in-house at our Brooklyn mill, this range offers powerful color intensity and purity. Pigment concentrations surpass other mid-tier oil color ranges, rivaling the quality and performance of leading professional lines at a significantly better value.

Traditionally processed on a three-roll mill, all colors use pure linseed oil as a vehicle—except for the three Whites, Cadmium-Free Yellows, and Cerulean Blues, which use safflower oil to maintain brightness. A focus on single-pigment colors ensures accurate mixing results, and most colors carry the highest lightfastness rating.

Rigorously lab and studio tested for tint strength, undertone, and historical accuracy, each tube is finished with a true color swatch.
