Schmincke Liquid Earth Watercolors are all natural, vegan, artist-grade watercolors made from unique earth pigments designed to complement each other beautifully. Unlike traditional finely milled watercolors, Liquid Earth colors preserve the natural texture and variation of the raw materials. Achieve interesting textures and effects when applied straight from the tube, dilute for variegated washes showcasing a range of values in a single brushstroke. Compatible with all watercolor and gouache colors, Liquid Earth colors also pair well with traditional or liquid charcoal or graphite, and are exceptional for underpainting with oil or acrylic.
