Schmincke Liquid Charcoal Trio Set of 3 Colors, 5ml – Schmincke Liquid Charcoal is a clean, dust-free alternative to traditional Charcoal. The three distinct charcoal colors are made by charring fruit seeds in barrels. Grape Seed Black has a cold black-grey tint with blue undertones. Cherry Pit Black is more of a warm brown, and Peach Stone Black works well as a neutral black or grey. Because it is bound by gum arabic Liquid Charcoal smudges less. If you apply a thick layer to smooth paper you can create intentional smudges. When thinly applied to textured paper the Charcoal is resistant to smudging.
