Schmincke Aqua Bronze contains dry metallic pigment and dextrine-glue powder, which makes it more lightfast, opaque, and brilliant. To create highly brilliant, shiny watercolors, dilute with water. You can change the opacity and glossiness of the color by adding more water. Keep in mind that Aqua Bronze colors work best on semi-absorbent surfaces like sized paper, cardboard, painting board, or primed canvas.
