Rublev Impasto Oil Medium is ideal for artists who want to add dimension to their work without altering drying times. Formulated with finely ground calcite, silica, and bentonite in pale linseed oil, this medium creates a “short” and buttery texture, ideal for building thick, impasto layers with a slight transparency.
Unlike other impasto mediums, Rublev Colours Impasto Medium is free from stearates, solvents, driers, and resins, so it’s safe to use without risk of cracking or delamination. It can be thinned with solvent or oil. When combined with oil paint, it does not alter color temperature.
