Da Vinci Perylene Red artist watercolor is a richly saturated, cherry red with delicate peach undertones. Perylene Red’s semi-transparent nature and medium tinting strength can be used to create silky smooth washes that visibly soften during drying. This quality also allows Perylene Red to mix a beautiful range of warm pinks, violets, oranges, and darks. Perylene Red’s elegant, understated beauty and excellent lightfast ratings make this color a great choice for a primary red in a palette.
