Unlike all-wood stretcher bars, aluminum bars are unaffected by changes in humidity and temperature and will not twist, bend, or warp. Museo Alu-Frame Aluminum Stretcher Bars are sold in pairs. 1-3/4″ (45 mm) profile. 4″ Extender: Attach two stretcher bar lengths together using an extender to make a frame up to 204″ long. Note: You need one Basic Assembly Kit (sold separately) for each frame you build.
## Basic Assembly Kit
This kit contains all the pieces required to assemble a non-braced frame. It includes four corner connectors, one stretcher (for keying the canvas), two screw eyelets, and one Allen key. You need one Assembly Kit for each frame you build.To build the frame, slip a stretcher onto either end of a corner connector and tighten the screw with the Allen key until you reach your desired tightness. Repeat the process at the other three corners. Use the screw eyelets for easy hanging. Screw them into the frame and string a hanging wire (sold separately) between them. These hangers are recommended for works smaller than 72″ × 72″.
## Corner Stabilizers, Pkg of 8
These pieces add strength to the corners of larger frames and are recommended for works bigger than 72″ × 72″ and for 60″ × 80″ or 48″ × 96″ frames. Sold in a pack of eight (two for each corner).
## Heavy Duty Hangers, Pkg of 2
For optimum suspension, these hangers are recommended when hanging works larger than 72″ × 72″ as well as 60″ × 80″ or 48″ × 96″ frames. Sold in a pack of two.
## Outer Cross Brace Connectors, Pkg of 2
These pieces are required to connect a cross brace to the outer frame. You need two outer connectors per cross brace. Sold in packs of two or four.
