Description
Liquitex Modeling Paste is a thick, putty-like modeling medium comprised of 100% acrylic polymers and marble dust. Combine it with acrylic colors or apply to rigid substrates directly from the jar to create texture or construct solid forms and structures. Modeling Paste maintains paint adhesion, durability, and archival quality, drying to a matte, opaque, stone-like hardness. Once dry, it can be sanded, drilled, carved, and painted over with acrylics, oils, watercolors, and dry pastels.
To use as a ground, apply a thin layer, allow it to dry, and sand if needed. For a more absorbent ground, combine with acrylic gesso in a 1:3 ratio, allow it to dry, and sand if necessary.
