Crafted with a proprietary binder, Grumbacher Japanese Watercolor Sets contain brilliant, opaque colors that dry to an eggshell sheen. Excellent lifting qualities allow you to add highlights and blend colors at any time during the painting process. A patent-pending well design keeps colors clean while mixing. The slanted mixing well not only prevents dilution of the original pan paint but also facilitates the accumulation of thinned color. Colors can be thinned with water to achieve translucent watercolor effects.
