As an artist, you want to show off your work in the best way possible, whether it’s in a gallery or on the internet. Light exposure is a recurring challenge to graphite artists. In poor lighting conditions, reflections can enhance flaws and hide details. These distortions can also happen when photographing art.
Frustrating glare is not an issue with Faber-Castell’s Pitt Graphite Matt pencils. The new soft dark formula reduces light reflection with a rich matt finish. This means that details are not lost under reflection, and digitizing (photographing, scanning) is simple. With little or no light reflection, these matt pencils allow you to present your art in the best light.
Like all Faber-Castell pencils, the lead is break-resistant and lightfast. The Pitt Graphite Matt pencils come in eight degrees of hardness: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, 10B, 12B, and 14B. While graphite pencils usually have a glossy casing finish, these pencils have a matt lacquer.
