Description
Daniel Smith Iridescent Gold Watercolor Ground is semi-transparent, which allows the color and/or pattern of the surface it’s applied onto to show slightly through the iridescent gold sheen. Transparent and semi-transparent watercolors will add a glaze of color when painted over this ground, modifying their color.Brush this ground on wood, plaster, hardboard, metal, plastic, glass, and fabric to create an absorbent surface for watercolor painting. Add the ground to your entire surface or only in areas where you want to add iridescent gold effects. For deepest gold, apply two to three thin coats. This watercolor ground creates a luminous gold paintable area when applied to a white surface.
