DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine GOUACHE – Burnt Umber, 15ml Tube -DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine™ GOUACHE is a professional grade water-based paint that dries to an opaque matte finish. GOUACHE is made with the same high-quality pigments, and gum arabic as DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine™ Watercolors but is formulated with more pigment to be richly opaque. Whites and other fillers are not used to make the color more opaque.

A traditional painter?s color, Burnt Umber is made by heating Raw Umber, which transforms it from a dark greenish brown to a dark brown with a hint of red tones. When mixed with a bit of white, it becomes a warm, tortoise shell brown. This rich earth pigment is lightfast, low-staining and popular with artists.
