This artist-quality, acrylic, acid-free white gesso from Daniel Smith is archival, thick and heavily pigmented. It’s made with a high-grade acrylic emulsion for optimal flexibility and durability.Titanium White Gesso offers excellent coverage and opacity and has a great lightfast rating. Use it to create a paintable surface for acrylics, oils, and alkyds. It cleans up with water. This gesso doesn’t contain the oil acids found in traditional grounds (which tend to deteriorate cotton or linen canvas fibers) so an under-sizing is not needed.
## Iridescent Gold, 16 oz
This gesso creates a gorgeous, luminous painting surface. It’s made with mica and iron oxides for a lustrous metallic sheen. The gesso is a vibrant, lightfast, and archival choice for your substrate. A radiant, golden sheen will peek out between gaps in your brushstrokes or in reserved golden areas when you paint, and the luminous glow will show through transparent oil and acrylic paints. Please note that the mica used to give this gesso its luster will settle over time, so mix the gesso well to re-suspend the particles.
