Description
Rosin—often known as fiddler’s resin—is a hard, acidic diterpene resin naturally extracted from pine trees. It arrives in brittle, glass-like fragments that range in color from pale reddish-yellows to deep, rich browns. In the studio, it is highly versatile and fully soluble in alcohols, ethers, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, and oils.
