Available in two thicknesses, Chroma Atelier Traditional Gel Mediums can be applied with a brush or a palette knife. These thick, waterbased acrylic gels are designed to increase paint structure, create texture, as well as extend the acrylic paints without altering their consistency. Produce obvious brush strokes, peaks and valleys, or brush smooth for texturing, glazing, or collaging. All Gel Mediums can be mixed directly with acrylic paint or applied on top.Once dry the surface is water-resitant and will take on the finish of the gel medium.
