Description
Our Carnauba is a vegetable wax from Brazil harvested from the leaves of the carnauba palm tree. It is harder and has a higher melting temperature than beeswax. Since Carnauba is easier to melt than damar resin, it is sometimes substituted for damar or combined with the damar to make an encaustic medium.
