These convenient pads feature color-themed selections of Canson Mi-Teintes Pastel Paper in assorted colors, earth tones, and gray tones. The paper is perfect for pastel paintings and tonal dry media drawings. Mi-Teintes paper is double-sided, acid-free, and lightfast. Pads are tape-bound with a chipboard backing and pastel paper in select theme colors.
Mi-Teintes paper pads have a 65% rag content and a 98 lb. weight. Both sides of the sheet are gelatine sized making it very strong and allowing repeated reworking in a variety of media. The Mi-Teintes sheet has two distinct surface textures, one side smooth and the other grainy. Thus, the sheet is adaptable to an endless array of techniques. No matter what media you use, soft pastel, oil pastel, pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, watercolor, designers’ colors, or acrylic, you’ll find the Mi-Teintes sheets to be highly receptive and easy to work on.
