Unlike most comparable knives with single-hone steel blades, the Blick Premier Snap-Off Knife boasts high-tempered Japanese black steel blades for an extremely sharp edge that stays sharper over multiple cuts. The Blick Premier Snap Off Knife and Blades features a segmented snap-off blade design, is lightweight, impact-resistant, has an ABS plastic handle, and an auto lock mechanism to prevent slippage. For a fresh blade, just use the built-in blade snapper or a pair of pliers to remove the dull edge. It comes with three segmented blade units, each containing 13 segments (total of 39 blades). Use this knife only with Blick Premier Snap Off Knife Blades.
