Expert artisans beautifully and meticulously hand-finish our Ambiance Round Frames. The reverse slope profile of the frame has a polished classical look. Two inner grooves direct your eye to the inside of the frame. An MDF core forms the basic shape, then outer layers of gesso and resin are built up and sanded by hand to support the smooth application of paint or foil leaf. The final coating is a clear, satin, polyethylene, UV protective coating, which seals and ensures a long-lasting finish. Each open-back frame comes with two D-ring hangers, hanging wire, and turn buttons with screws.

Due to the hand-finished nature of these frames, small inconsistencies in the measurements and finish may occur.
Please note: Offset clips, sold separately, are the best option when attaching a stretched canvas to an Ambiance frame. 1/8″ offsets are the perfect size for Fredrix oval and round canvases. Flexipoints or glazier points are another framing option.
