Silver Brush has produced a series of sets, recommended by noted portrait artist John Howard Sanden, that are ideal for portrait and figure painters in oils. John Howard Sanden launched the National Portrait Seminar in 1979, and has completed more than five hundred portraits of prominent figures in American public, professional, and business life.

## Beginner Set, Set of 9
This assortment of brushes is ideal for the beginning portrait artist. It includes eight Series 1103 Silverstone Filberts, including two each of sizes 2 and 6, and one each of sizes 4, 8, 10, and 12. There is also one size 10 Series 7100 Red Sable Round.

## Starter Set, Set of 8
This set features an assortment of Pure Red Sable Renaissance brushes. There is one size 6 Series 7100 Round brush. There are four Series 7102 Bright brushes in sizes 2, 6, 10, and 20. Additionally, there are three Series 7110 Cat’s Tongue brushes in sizes 2, 6, and 10.

## Student Set, Set of 20
This set features an assortment of brushes: ten Series 1103 Silverstone Filberts, including two each of sizes 2, 4, 6, and 8, and one each of sizes 10 and 12. There are three Series 1104 Silverstone Fan blenders in sizes 2, 4, and 6. There are three Series 7102 Renaissance Red Sable Brights in sizes 2, 4, and 6. ## Atelier Sable Set, Set of 19
This is a slightly larger set of Pure Red Sable Renaissance brushes. The set includes two Series 7100 Round brushes in sizes 6 and 8. There are five Series 7110 Cat’s Tongue brushes in sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. Additionally, there are 12 Series 7102 Bright brushes, including two each of sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10, and one each of sizes 18 and 20.

## Master Sable, Set of 32
This set contains one each of sizes 2, 4, 6, and 8 Series 7100 Renaissance Rounds, plus two each of sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 18, and 20 Series 7102 Renaissance Brights. It also includes two each of sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 18, and 20 Series 7110 Renaissance Cat’s Tongue.

This set features an assortment of 24 Series 1003 Grand Prix Filberts, including four each of sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12.
