Made from traditional Japanese fibers such as kozo and gampi, these beautiful papers are suitable for ink work, printmaking, and drawing. Individual 17″ x 20-1/2″ sheets are acid-free, archival, and have four deckle edges.More than 300 years of washi papermaking expertise go into every sheet of Awagami Editioning Paper. Made from traditional Japanese fibers, as well as other non-tree fibers, these papers are suitable for a wide range of techniques. Made from 25% kozo and 75% alpha-cellulose, this paper has a warm natural color, medium weight (51 gsm), and subtle surface texture. Because of its versatility and affordable price point, this sheet has become an international standard for printmaking students.
