Ruler of his domain, waiting for your interpretation to bring him to life.  This rooster, the first in a series of folk art rooster styles, represents the techniques of Peter Ompir, who, along with Peter Hunt and Per Lysne, began our folk art journey anew in the 1900’s.

¾”-1” filbert, flat, or oval glaze – Applying Retarder Medium, varnishing.
