Schmincke Aqua Bronze colors contain dry metallic pigment and dextrine-glue powder, which makes them more lightfast, opaque, and brilliant than other metallic watercolors. To obtain highly brilliant, shiny watercolors, just add water. You can change the opacity and glossiness of the color by adding more water. Keep in mind that Aqua Bronze colors work best on semi-absorbent surfaces like sized paper, cardboard, painting board, or primed canvas.
