Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolor – Yellow Ochre, 15ml Tube
Yellow Ochre is an opaque orange-brown ochre obtained from natural iron oxide. It is one of the oldest pigments and has been used since prehistoric times.
The natural pigments are sometimes slightly coarser in texture, which – unlike gouache – results in a rougher, usually slightly granular surface effect. The colors aren’t stiff but don’t flow as easily as traditional watercolor.
