Yasutomo Sumi Ink – KV2 Vermilion, 2oz
Vermilion is an ancient red-orange Sumi ink used to hand-letter manuscripts, seal scrolls, and ink paintings. Many Asian calligraphy teachers still use Vermilion Sumi to correct or critique students’ work. This water-resistant ink is opaque and dries to a matte finish.
Dip your calligraphy pen or brush directly into the bottle to start working with the ink. Mix vermilion ink with black to create a rich brown or warm black calligraphy ink.
