Round and Oval Da Vinci Pro Birch Painting Panels offer an exceptionally rigid painting surface with a fine, wood grain, perfect for use with brittle egg tempera or fluid acrylics. The medium-density fiberboard cradle is warp-resistant and lessens the likelihood of the Birchwood panel flexing or bowing.
The super-smooth wood grain is able to support universal acrylic primers, encaustic gesso, PVA, and traditional glue-based barrier coatings. You can also mount canvas or virtually any art paper to these Birch panels. For a frameless presentation, we recommend applying an archival fixative or varnish to protect your art.
