The color lays down cleanly and evenly without stickiness.You can mix the rich colors dry or with linseed oil. They guarantee color consistency by tracking pigment distribution and purity. The colors never completely dry out because Holbein suspends the pigments in a mixture of wax and mineral oil. These pastels provide brilliant results on paper and canvas.
