Description
Domestic project wood from Michigan and Wisconsin that is preferred by architects, students, and model builders due to its economy, workability and finishing qualities. Basswood’s close, tight homogeneous grain structure makes it ideal for a wide variety of hobbies, crafts, and miniature projects.
Midwest’s Micro-Cut Quality uses technology developed in-house to produce finer cut tolerances up to .002 inches and a 5 step inspection process to ensure these project wood sheets and strips meet your demanding standards and requirements. You can cut the thin basswood strips with a hobby knife while the thicker basswood sheets require a saw for precision cutting. You can stain or paint basswood to represent any type of wood finish. Choose by your preferred width and thickness. UPCs are printed directly on the ends of bars.
