The KUM Automatic Long Point Sharpener creates a super sharp pencil point with a clever 2-step process. The first hole cleanly shaves away the wood casing while the second hole sharpens the lead to an incredibly sharp point. An automatic brake, or built-in stopper, prevents over-sharpening. On either side of the sharpener, you’ll also find 2 lead pointers for drafting pencils that fit 2mm and 3.2mm leads, making this an ideal all-around, and portable pencil sharpener. KUM high carbon steel blades are razor sharp and the highest quality available, designed to resist corrosion and last for thousands of uses. Two spare blades are included, tucked away in a compartment within the sharpener. The flip-top case catches a few shavings but is designed primarily to keep messy graphite dust out of your drawing kit while traveling. This durable sharpener is suitable for any standard thickness 8mm pencil – including graphite and colored pencils that are round, hexagonal, or triangular – and drafting mechanical pencil leads.
