Description
Standard Clay Company 378 Speckled Stoneware Clay is a mid- to high-fire clay with a superb throwing body. Containing manganese, it achieves a rich gray color with a speckled surface in oxidation and a dark brown color in reduction. The clay has an average shrinkage of 11.5% and absorption of 4% at Cone 6, and average shrinkage of 13% and absorption of 1% at Cone 10.
